Login to windows, plug in key, get a popup saying the key isn’t recognized, would you like to use it to login? Click yes, enter your password or pin, done. All that above? Forget it. I’ll stick to thumb prints.

Biometric solutions are potentially very useful, but have the weakness that you cannot change things like your fingerprint details (fingerprints themselves are left on whatever you touch). As a way to enhance other authentication factors biometric readings are still very good, but should never be used on their own.
